Appeals

When any type of family law or juvenile case is tried to completion, the court renders a decision in the form of a judgment. If the decision is not satisfactory to either or both parties, a party may take the case to the next level, the Oregon Court of Appeals. Family law appeals work is highly specialized and it is very difficult to overturn a decision made by a trial court judge. Miranda worked for the Oregon Court of Appeals for a time and has experience handling domestic relations and juvenile dependency appeals. Because there are timelines for filing an appeal, it is important that you contact an attorney quickly to discuss your options.
